CBT is highly individualised according to your personal circumstances but typically involves understanding, facing and overcoming your depression, anxiety, specific fear, or the effects of your trauma in a controlled, systematic and fully supported treatment program, using clinically proven methods. Many clients are amazed at the improvement in overall life quality and degree of selfempowerment when long-standing problems are conquered or significantly reduced. In most cases, 6-8 sessions or less (plus completed homework tasks) and periodic booster sessions (in some cases) are sufficient to successfully manage or eliminate the majority of depression or anxiety-related problems.
